We understand that you want your cake to arrive safely and on time, and we take extra steps to make sure it does. Each year, we deliver cakes across the UK-Thanks to our custom packaging and our partnership with the UK’s leading courier service, APC, we ensure your cake reaches you in perfect condition.
How We Ensure Safe Delivery
- Freshness & Packaging
- Our cakes are made fresh on the day of dispatch and are covered with a layer of sugarpaste fondant, which keeps them fresh for up to 7 days at room temperature.
- We recommend scheduling delivery at least 3 days before your special event to ensure your cake arrives safely.

- Packaging Details
- Each cake is carefully packaged in a custom-made box with protective air bags, depending on the size and shape.
- Delicate sugarcraft pieces like flowers or characters are wrapped separately, so you’ll need to place them on the cake (don’t worry—it’s easy!).
- Our boxes are specially designed with a carry handle for easy handling, ensuring the cake stays safe throughout transit.
- Courier Delivery with APC
- We use APC, one of Europe’s largest and most trusted couriers, who are trained to handle cakes with care. Every cake is hand-delivered directly to your door.
- You’ll receive delivery notifications via text or email with a one-hour delivery window. You can opt to have the cake left in a safe place or with a neighbour.
- If you’re not home, the courier may leave the cake in a safe spot (e.g., porch or garage) and leave a card to let you know where it’s been placed.
- Important: We don’t recommend selecting the “pickup at APC shop” option, as it can take 1-2 days for the cake to arrive there.
Pick-Up Option
If you prefer, you can collect your cake directly from our ____________ location. We can arrange a collection time on any day, including weekends. Contact us to arrange your pick-up.

- Damaged Cake?
While it’s very rare, if your cake arrives damaged, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue. - Late Delivery?
- Contact APC: For tracking and re-delivery, call APC Customer Service at __________.
- Standard delivery is not guaranteed. We recommend ordering at least Three or two days before your event, especially around busy periods like Christmas and Black Friday.
